Improving sexual and reproductive health for young people project
The project improves access to information and youth friendly services to the young generation. The 2014-2015 program started with Cycle I in 14 administrative sectors of Ruhango and Nyamagabe districts of Southern Province of Rwanda and expended to more (21 sectors) in Cycle II. It builds capacity of service providers to reach 195 370 young people aged between 10-24 years to improve knowledge and safer sexual practices and access SRH youth friendly service.
The project is closely aligned to the plan for implementation of the National Adolescent Reproductive Health Strategy for 2011-2015. The overall objective of the project is to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and access to sexual and reproductive health service among young people aged between 10-24 years old.
